Please fill out the following club idea poll and choose the top 3 topics to have events centered around. You can even write your own topic down as well: Club Idea Poll By popular demand, the first event series will consist of a professional development workshop.
Join us on March 3rd as we take a full day trip to Seattle! We will spend the morning with Microsoft in Redmond, touring their Cybercrimes Unit and the Security Operations Center. In the afternoon, we will cross Lake Washington to visit ExtraHop, a network security startup located in downtown Seattle. In between, we will eat lunch on the Eastside, generously paid for by Western’s Computer Science department. We will depart from campus at approximately 8am, and return at approximately 5:30pm.
Ken Arora, from F5 Networks, would love to answer any questions you have about the tech industry and your career. Ken is incredibly knowledgeable about the network security industry and will be a great resource, especially if you’re interested in working at a company like F5. He may be joining us on-campus in the near future, and if so, he’ll use our questions here to decide what his topic will be.
